With the changing global response to human interactions, OutSystems found a way to innovate and uphold a safe and responsible approach to keep up spirits and host this year’s NextStep.

As we all are aware, due to global-wide regulations, this year’s NextStep was not able to be a physical event, rather they opted to host a virtual event. This digital event was able to take place as per scheduled and although it was new territory for most, ensured that the interaction and engagement we have all become accustomed to with NextStep weren’t lost. This year we were able to enjoy the same perks of a physical event but this time with a digital transformation. The attendees experienced a new aged approach to a virtual event with presentations from experts around the globe, live Q&As, sponsors’ booths, a community booth, keynotes, plus more.

With OutSystems thinking of a different approach to events due to Covid-19, so did we at OutSprint. As we all know, globally we are facing an unprecedented challenge with communities and economies everywhere being affected by the growing COVID-19 pandemic. We have all come together to help combat this global outbreak. The outpouring of global solidarity and support sparked by this shared challenge has been phenomenal and we are very proud that along with all the people who participated in our NextStep 2020 quiz, were able to donate €440 to the World Health Organisation COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

We want to personally thank everyone who took part and hopefully we can all meet in person at NextStep 2021.
